What level of quality does my recording need to be?

High quality, no mobile phone recordings please. If you're a band, record all of the instruments individually. Feel free to email us your stems and we'll happily check the quality.

Is Garageband any good?

Not particularly, look into getting Reaper (the base version is free), and you can produce music of a far higher quality.
